First — thanks to all the White County LSP members who hosted the Winter Board Meeting in Searcy this weekend. It was a very informative, fun, and profitable meeting and we appreciate your hospitality and efforts on our behalf. You were great hosts and hostesses to our members!!

Third – AALS is giving away a FREE registration to the March, 2010 NALS Educational Conference in Tulsa.
(Please note — this will be the Registration Fee only! The winning member will still have to pay their own transportation, food, room and board but AALS will pay the winner’s registration fee of $269!)
Deadline – Noon, January 15th.
How do you get your name in the drawing? Send an email to Janice Miller (jmille@acxiom.com) before noon on January 15th, and your name will be put in the hat for the drawing for the free registration. All AALS members will be notified of the winner via email by 5 p.m. on January 15th. Please only submit your name if you want to go and if you know you can go to this important meeting in Tulsa in March!
Fourth — Leadership Retreat will be held at Lakepoint Conference Center, Russellville, AR June 4 and 5 of this year. We can only accept 50 members…. your cost is only $20 because AALS is paying the rest of the cost for the Retreat this year as a way to make the event affordable to as many members as possible! Please email Janet Gordon if you want to reserve a spot, and then immediately send in your $20.00 to her — her email is: janet@stevejordanlaw.com When we reach 50 members, we’ll let you all know!
