The January, 2012 issue of the NALS docket arrived by email yesterday and you can access it online at nals.org. The announcement from the NALS Board of Directors reveals some proposed changes that every member needs to be aware of. The information that I am including in this web blast is only a smidgen of the information provided in the NALS docket. Two initiatives for streamlining the association are being recommended to strengthen the association and the value of membership. A new nomination and election process is being established. “The NALS Board of Directors and Think Tank are passionate about their commitment to make our association better, stronger, and more relevant to all members.” Please read the article in the NALS docket, then click the link contained in the article to read a more detailed explanation of the proposed initiatives and the reasons behind them. This is YOUR organization—be active, be informed, and be a part of this new strategic move.
